Nakhati Jon earned a master’s and doctoral degree in Educational Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Nakhati Jon means…
The pen name comes from 2 Corinthians 2:15, “For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” (Net Bible). “Sweet aroma” in the Tajik language is nakhati jon. The gospel minister and educator should be a pleasing or dear (jon) presence to those they desire to teach. Nakhati Jon hopes his work will be a sweet aroma apologetically to those in an Islamic setting.
In light of his experience, he also writes about Persian history and influence when the urge comes his way. In addition, he enjoys visiting historical sites and museums to discover crosses that the location often overlooks.

Nakhati Jon desire is for everyone to recognize the profound love of God for the world. The covenantal God, who passionately loves the world, sent His Son to accomplish His eternal plan. Jesus entered the world through a miraculous birth, lived a sinless life, and willingly offered Himself on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity. After his burial, He triumphed over death and now lives in the hearts of believers. Believers are resolutely awaiting Jesus’ return before the Day of Judgment. Each person who places their trust in Christ will stand before their Creator with Christ as their advocate.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
