In the prayer challenge for the nations, we need to pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17). The Lord Jesus provided the example of praying daily, so let’s expand our prayers by praying for the nations.
Prayer Challenge Day 6
Amazingly, amid hopelessness, disappointment, and earthquakes, the Lord draws many to himself in Turkiye, the largest Muslim country in the European area.
Elements of hopelessness affect the mindset of the people there: earthquakes, elections, and economic struggles.
Day 7 – Pray4USA
Day 8 – Prayer Challenge – Argentina
Today, we are focusing on Argentina, which hosts the largest Muslim population in South America. Possibly 2% of the population adheres to Islam and the religious freedoms in the country encourage its growth. Do you know of ministries there? May they reach out to these people also.
Day 9 – pray4Indonesia
I am reminded to pray for Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world. It is a place of great diversity and a continued movement of God’s Spirit. Continue to pray for the gospel to spread and for many to hear it clearly.
Day 10 – Pray4Iran
Near March 21 is the Persian New Year and the most prominent holiday in Iran. They celebrate this non-Muslim holiday for about two weeks.
Also, that time is the greatest opportunity for Christians to share about new life in Christ. The Lord Jesus gives new hope and grants a new day! Many missiologists say that the fastest-growing church in the world is in Iran. Some of their stories are found in my book, Searching Below the Surface.
